Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District Land Use Committee Meeting
The Land Use Committee for the Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District is now beginning to interact with city agencies, developers, and a range of governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, regarding a wide range of land use issues within the recently-created Cultural District in the South of Market neighborhood.
There is a great need for volunteers to join this Committee, and there are a wide range of opportunities for involvement, from being on call to show up at a meeting in City Hall, to critical negotiations with planners and developers. Coordination, administration and leadership roles are also open. (See document at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ex3itXehbxdghAD0v8WOlwD-GibJ1Dt9OUx4pEFCVoc/).
While special skills in real estate or civic planning are great, anyone with an interest in our neighborhood is very welcome to join, and this is the perfect time to become involved.
The meeting is free and open to all.
